The founder of Pickett Fences created the organization while she worked as a Case Manager for a private senior home services agency. The position consisted of promoting the organizations services and signing seniors up for those services. The founder recognized that seniors were in need of the affordable services being offered by the agency, however, many seniors did not have the funds to pay for the services. With a passion for serving seniors, the founder began to meet the financial gap to aid seniors in obtaining the services they need. Since the inception of Pickett Fences, other services and programs have been added to meet the needs of seniors. Pickett Fences has community partners and collaborates with various organizations to meet the needs of seniors in the community.
