SUMMARY:Women's Empowerment Tea Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:It gives me great pleasure to invite you to the first  Women’s Empowerment Fundraising Tea hosted by Pickett Fences Senior Services\, Inc. (Pickett Fences). Please come out and join us for an empowerment session with great food and fellowship on October 31st\, 2015. \nWomen’s Tea Flyer  |  Dress Code Guide \nThe event will consist of various teas\, pastries\, sandwiches\, vendors\, and exhibitors. We will have a raffle\, a silent auction\, and a speaker that will embody the theme of women’s empowerment. The event is $30 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. \nPickett Fences is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization founded in 2012\, to improve the quality of life for Senior Citizens. Pickett Fences is based in Prince Georges County\, Maryland. Our mission is to strengthen services currently provided in the community through education\, advocacy\, and providing resources that will enhance the quality of life for our Senior Citizens. We strive to Inspire\, Educate\, and Serve the needs of our growing senior population. \nThroughout 2015\, we have provided financial assistance for utilities\, home repairs\, prescriptions\, personal care\, transportation\, etc. We have also provided advocacy support for seniors\, and lending our voices to assist seniors when they are not being heard. In September 2015\, Pickett Fences proudly partnered with AARP to pack meals for over 1.4 Million Older adults in the Washington\, DC Metropolitan area. \nWe need your help to continue our efforts in providing resources for seniors in Prince Georges County. We are able to support our clients because of the strong support of individual donations.
